Designed as a large-group program for a community care setting, the IMHope team and community volunteers create a 45-minute musical experience for residents. For this program to have maximum benefit, we encourage communities to offer Heart & Soul on a monthly or bi-weekly basis. This allows for relationships and bonds to form between residents and the IMHope team and volunteers.

Heart & Soul is a community music experience, where every community member plays a role. The IMHope songbooks with large print lyrics invite residents to sing along to the music. Handheld percussion instruments are available for those who wish to play along.
